The first week of class I wasn't registered for the class, so I didn't make it the first day of class. I did make it the second day, thankfully. We learned what Environmental Health is and why it is important. We also did a Star Wars activity with rope circles, where we tried to fit everyone into the circles and at the end had to fit everyone's feet into one circle. When we got to the last circle everyone just yelled out ideas until one was heard and we just did it. I think that this helped us to see that it can be like that in the world today. We can't all speak at the same time, or noone will be heard, which is why it is important that we elect the right person to speak for us and what we want to be done. As long as we are willing to all work together we can accomplish anything!
The second week was a little tougher, as we tried to learn about blogging. I am new at it and am finding it a little bit difficult. It is getting a lot easier the more that I am on it and just try new things. I think this will be a good learning experience and a nice change in the way of doing class work.
I am really excited to see what is to come in the class and all the topics that we will be able to discuss. I haven't taken a class like this before and am very intersted. Cant wait!!!!:)

Hey Kaileigh! These blogs can be so frustrating. I am starting to get the hang of it, just a little slow. I am unfamiliar with blogs too, hopefully it will get easier. Your blog is so colorful and nice, I really like it!

I liked how you related the Star Wars activity when everyone was yelling things out, to how we all need to work together and choose an elected person to get done what needs to get done for the environment. Great way to put it and SO true!

ReplyDeleteI agree that blogging can be stressful to start out but it looks like you're definitely getting the hang of it=) I really like your blog but just one thing to consider could be using a lighter text color against this dark blue background. Like your first post=) Good luck blogging this semester!
